7. Voluntary acquisition of citizenship of another country : Article 9 provides that if a person has voluntarily acquired the citizenship of a foreign State he shall forfeit the right of citizenship of India .

   पिछले साठ वर्षों से दूर खड़े होकर देखने के बाद अन्तत: इजरायल के तीसरे क्रम के शत्रुओं ने भी युद्ध में भाग लेना आरम्भ कर दिया है. विदेशी राज्य इजरायल के प्रथम शत्रु हैं. मई 1948 में इजरायल की स्वतन्त्रता की घोषणा के उपरान्त पाँच विदेशी सशस्त्र सेनाओं ने इजरायल पर आक्रमण किया. इसके बाद 1956, 1967, 1970 और 1973 के सभी युद्धों में इजरायल को अपने पड़ोसियों की सेना, वायुसेना और नौसेना के साथ युद्ध करने पड़े. आज सबसे बड़ा खतरा इरान और सीरिया के जनसंहारक हथियारों से है. मिस्र भी लगातार परम्परागत सैन्य संकट उत्पन्न कर रहा है.
10. Disqualifications for Membership : Under article 102 , a person shall be disqualified for being chosen as and for being a member of either House -LRB- i -RRB- if he is not a citizen of India or otherwise owes allegiance to a foreign State , -LRB- ii -RRB- if he is an undischarged insolvent or one declared by a competent court to be of unsound mind , -LRB- iii -RRB- if he holds any office of profit under the Union or a State Government other than the office of Minister or any office exempted by Parliament by law , and -LRB- iv -RRB- if he is otherwise disqualified under any law made by Parliament .
    सदस्यता के लिए निरर्हताएं : अनुच्छेद 102 के अधीन कोई व्यक्ति संसद के किसी सदन का सदस्य चुने जाने के और सदस्यहोने के योग्य नहीं होगा यदि वह ( इ ) भारत का नागरिक नहीं है अथवा अन्यथा किसी विदेशी राज्य के प्रति निष्ठा रखता है ; यदि वह ( इइ ) अनुन्मोचित दिवालिया1 है अथवा विकृतचित्त है और उसके बारे में सक्षम न्यायालय की घोषणा विद्यमान है ; ( इइइ ) भारत सरकार के या राज्य सरकार के अधीन कोई लाभ का पद धारण करता है , सिवाय मंत्री पद के अथवा उस पद के जिसके बारे में संसद ने विधि द्वारा छूट दी है ; और ( इव् ) संसद द्वारा बनाए गए किसी कानून के अधीन अयोग्य ठहराया गया हो .
